Nicole Lovell was found dead in North Carolina in January 2016 four days after she went missing

The 13-year-old had been stabbed,  had her throat slit  and was left nude 

David Eisenhauer is accused of murdering her because he feared she may have been pregnant with his baby 

He was 18 at the time and was a freshman at Virginia Tech University 

His friend Natalie Keepers, who was also a freshman, is accused of helping him

The mother of a killed 13-year-old gazed intently at her charged executioner in court on Tuesday. 

Nicole Lovell's mom Tammy Weeks sat forward in people in general display of Montgomery County Circuit Court in Christiansburg, Virginia, as understudy David Eisenhauer showed up. 

Eisenhauer, 18, is blamed for killing Nicole by drawing her out of her window to cut her to death and opening her throat in January 2016. 

Tuesday was the main day of his murder trial. 

Eisenhauer's companion, Natalie Keepers, is likewise charged. She is blamed for helping him shroud the adolescent's body subsequent to slaughtering him.

Amid opening articulations Tuesday at the murder trial of David Eisenhauer, Commonwealth's Attorney Mary Pettitt told members of the jury that Eisenhauer had been discussing on the web with Nicole Lovell for quite a long time before he killed her in 2016. 

Pettitt said the 18-year-old Eisenhauer had met Lovell in any event once before she moved out her window to meet him in January 2016. She said he exited her in the forested areas, in the snow, to kick the bucket after he cut her. 

Nicole's naked body was found following a four-day seek right finished the state line in North Carolina and experts say she was cut and had her throat sliced. 

The killed young lady had told companions before she vanished that she was wanting to escape to meet her 18-year-former 'beau' who she said was named David.
